I installed the zune software, but I

Marketplace is not yet available in the UK yet. Everything with the Zune works great in UK, you just don’t get access to Marketplace (Microsoft s music store).
It’s simple to enable. Go to the control panel and find “Regional and Language Options” then click on the location tab, and change your location to
…United States. This doesnt really affect anything else, however, you can’t buy anything, because they require an american credit card

I recently bought a Zune HD and downloaded the UK software onto my laptop. This works fine, but when I try to connect my Zune it tells me to update to 4.3. For some reason the link it gives me comes up with an error every time I try to download it. I cannot do anything with the Zune until I do this. Any help as to how to get it working or other ways to download 4.3?
Did you try to do a hard reset on your Zune? This will usually fix any software related issues like that.
To create a working account that'll enable you to utilise the marketplace etc etc u have to create a new hotmail/msn account with a valid American address. And to actually purchase music off Zune marketplace you can buy "Zune passes" from here: http://www.zunethings.co.uk/zune-pass-days-p-159.html/

I have a have had a zune 30gb for about 3 and a bit years, I have recently given it to my brother and we cannot download the software from the site, the above link and most others are dead links the sites don’t work.
The basic software that comes with on the setup disc works but because the zune itself is updated to 4.0 (as is the software on my computer) it wont recognise the basic software when installed on my brotehrs computer.
Can someone please advise because he cannot use the zune without the software?

I have just checked on my laptop and you are right the link above works.
Although does not work still on my brothers laptop. He is running Mozilla fire fox, like I do & windows XP fully updated
