First Batch of Zune HD on the way to UK

Wednesday, 16 September 2009

Good news for those who pre-ordered the Zune HD from ZuneThings, the first batch of both 16GB and 32GB are on the way and should be delivered in about 2 weeks as expected.

We will be emailing all the pre-orders to give details on how to make payment etc. over the next few days.

I am travelling to New York in october and was wondering if you could put up a definative guide for UK Zune HD owners on what can and cannot be done with it and Zune 4.0.

Features such as downloading free apps, developing apps using visual studio, listening to Radio Stations, power adaptors etc...

Martin,

Thats a great idea. I have a Zune HD 32gb arriving on 22nd Sept. I will post my finds once I've tried all the features.

Thanks

You can download the Zune 4.0 software off the web and try it for yourself.

To gain access to the Zune marketplace you had to set your computers location to US and create a live account which is not UK based.

This allows you access to the marketplace - you can preview all music and videos, download the free apps and podcasts.

You cannot download music or videos. You cannot utilise a zune pass.

Thanks for the reply,

Would be helpful to have a tutorial for getting the marketplace to work.

Thanks
